About Us

Cyber Liberties Initiative [CLI] is a global group of students, human rights workers, activists, policy analysts, technologists, legal enthusiasts, artists, and hacktivists. We believe that privacy and access to information are basic human rights that ought to be protected. CLI assumes as an ethical point of departure the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, with special emphasis on Article 19, and the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights. We also support the Free Software and Open Source movements.
